Diwali, popularly known as the ‘Festival of Lights’, is one of the most significant festivals celebrated with great pomp and show across the country. This festival symbolises the victory of inner light over spiritual darkness. To commemorate this joyous occasion, a Diwali Celebration was organised by Paragon Convent School, Sector 24, Chandigarh, on 17th October, 2025.
The celebration began with various competitions for Classes I to VIII, such as Diya Decoration, Toran Making, Paper Plate Decoration, and Rangoli Making, which allowed students to showcase their creativity and festive spirit. The students of Classes VI–VIII also presented wonderful dance performances on vibrant Diwali songs and staged a role-play depicting Lord Rama’s return to Ayodhya after his exile, adding a cultural and devotional touch to the event.
The event was graced by our Chairman Sir, Mr. Sahibjeet Singh Sandhu, Director Ma’am and Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Rajni Dutta whose presence made the celebration even more special.
