The Kindergarten wing of Paragon Convent School, Sector 24, Chandigarh, was alive with energy and happiness as young Krishna devotees joyfully celebrated Janmashtami on 24 September, 2024. The children, dressed as Krishna and Radha, captivated everyone with their charming reenactments of scenes from Lord Krishna’s life, using delightful props like tiny butter pots and flutes.
The celebration started with a storytelling session that brought to life the playful adventures of young Krishna, followed by the singing of soulful bhajans. The kids then immersed themselves in a creative art and craft session, where they made special keepsakes with the help of their teachers. The highlight of the day was the thrilling ‘Matki Phod’ event, where the revered Principal, alongside a child dressed as Krishna, broke a suspended pot filled with treats. The day was filled with joy, creativity, and spiritual reflection, leaving everyone with lasting smiles and wonderful memories.
