Lohri Celebrations

Lohri, a traditional Punjabi harvest festival, marks the end of winter and the onset of longer and warmer days. In light of the aforementioned, on January 13, 2025, Paragon Convent School, Sector 24- B celebrated the vibrant festival of Lohri with great enthusiasm and fervor.
During the same, the Chairman sir, Principal ma’am, teachers and students gathered to light the bonfire, a symbolic tradition of Lohri. The students sang traditional Lohri songs and danced around the bonfire, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The program highlighted the significance of Lohri and its importance in Punjabi culture.
Furthermore, to add a sweet touch to the celebration, traditional Lohri treats, such as gajjak, popcorn, and peanuts, were distributed among the students.
Overall, the Lohri celebration in our school was a resounding success, filled with joy, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the Punjabi culture.
